We are looking for an adaptable and enthusiastic Outside School Hours Care professional to take on a full-time Nominated Supervisor role in North Beach.

• The Centre

The service is located on the grounds of a private school and is managed by the school principal. The services empower all children through faith, wisdom and knowledge to live fulfilling lives in an ever-changing world. The service acknowledges parents as the first educators of their children, and they partner with them in this educational journey. They believe in each child's inherent strength and individuality in their school.

This service can take up to 60 children and works closely with the school's Education Support centre. Knowledge of the additional needs of children is desirable.

• The Role

As the OSHC Coordinator / Nominated Supervisor, you are responsible for the day-to-day program, supervision and care of children aged 4 - 12. Working closely with the primary school, families and School Principal, you will use your knowledge of the National Quality Standards and My Time Our Place to create and facilitate a high-quality program that focuses on the social and emotional well-being of the children.

Leadership skills are a must as you will oversee a solid team of educators; you will be mentoring this team to ensure that all regulations and company policies and procedures are adhered to.

• About You

For this role, you need to work Monday - Friday. The service opens from 2.30 - 6.00 pm. You will be required to work Vacation Care hours. You will be rewarded with an above-award salary. You must be flexible, understanding, and patient.

• Requirements
• An ACECQA-approved Outside School Hours Care qualification such as a Cert IV in School Aged Care, Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor of Primary Education.
• A Western Australian Working With Children Check
• HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Full work rights in Australia
• Experience working in an OSHC setting
• National Police Clearance
