The integrated end-to-end rural solutions package also provides customers with the benefits of utilising Lindsay Transport’s refrigerated fleet to deliver rural supplies to farms and transporting fresh produce direct to major east coast markets.

The Role :

Our Mareeba rural branch is seeking a Storeperson to join our small team!

The Storeperson is responsible for receiving all stock for the area and ensure that it is stored and supplied in line with business requirements and counter / store front sales and service.

Monday to Friday role, start time ranging between 7am to 8am

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to :

• Check stock against paperwork
• Correctly receipting of stock
• Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures
• Put stock away in correct locations
• Report any missing stock to management
• Conduct stock counts when requested as per company procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of Lindsay Rural Site
• Load and unload trucks
• Ensure all stock has delivery numbers
• Always maintain effect stock control
• Take customer orders and payments in person or over the phone where required
• Provide customers on advice on product available

About You :

To be successful for this role applicant must have :

• Work experience in customer service
• Experience working in a warehouse
• High level reasoning, problem solving and planning skills
• Professional manner
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise competing objectives
• Current & valid Forklift licence

To be successful for this role applicants must :

• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
