  • Job Title : Warehouse Forklift Driver / Pick Packer
  • Location : Cosmopolitan Living Furniture
  • Department : Warehouse
  • As a warehouse Pick packer worker at Cosmopolitan Living Furniture, you will be an essential part of our warehouse team, ensuring that our wide range of furniture products is efficiently, accurately, and safely picked and packed for delivery to our customers. Your role is critical in maintaining the high standard of customer satisfaction that Cosmopolitan Living Furniture is known for.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Picking Quality Goods : Select items that precisely match customer orders, ensuring the right specifications and quality, such as size, colour, and condition.
  • 2. Packing Customer Orders Safely : Securely stack boxes, fix any damaged cartons, and wrap pallets of goods for shipment.
  • 3. Separating Picked Items by courier company : Strategically pack items to minimize damage and ensure optimal conditions, like grouping goods in different courier company for ease of pickup.
  • 4. Sealing and Labelling Packed Orders : Accurately label packages with matching customer information and ensure order accuracy before sealing.
  • 5. Moving Completed Orders to Shipping Area : Transport orders to the shipping area, verifying SKU for accuracy and intact condition.
  • 6. Efficient Picking and Packing : Work swiftly to minimize customer wait times, ensuring schedules for delivery are met.
  • 7. Monitoring Product Quality : Continuously check the quality of CARTON BOXES, fix any damaged boxes on the spot, reporting any recurring damaged issues to supervisors.
  • 8. Safely Operating Equipment : Handle warehouse equipment like jacks responsibly, following all safety guidelines.
  • 9. Maintaining Records for shipment, plus any return items : Keep accurate records of incoming (return items) and outgoing shipments, check all return items for any damages. If conditions are all met, we need to report to the supervisor with list of items can be placed back to stock.
  • 10. Packing Incoming Stock : Unpack and store incoming stock securely and neatly, ready for distribution.
  • 11. Following Work Safe Practices : Adhere to safety practices to prevent injuries, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.
  • 12. Maintaining a Clean Work Area : Keep the workspace clean and organized for sanitation, safety, and efficiency.
  • 13. Securing the Work Environment : Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and its contents.
  • 14. Performing Other Assigned Duties : Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support team efforts.
  • Skills
  • High Reach Forklift Driving Skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Physical stamina and strength for handling heavy items.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
