Due to continued growth across the APAC region, an exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Tax Manager to join the finance team and take ownership of all tax matters for Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Tax Manager , and working closely with the Finance Director , you will manage tax compliance and advisory services across the ANZ region. This is a high-impact role where your technical tax knowledge and strategic mindset will drive value across the organisation.

Key Responsibilitie

  • Oversee and review GST calculations, returns, and payments for Australian and NZ entities
  • Manage lodgement of BAS, PAYG, and FBT returns
  • Handle tax audits, reviews, and inquiries from the ATO and IRD
  • Review or prepare monthly and year-end tax workings and disclosures
  • Provide tax technical advice (income tax, GST, employment tax) to support business units
  • Partner with external tax advisors on compliance and advisory matters
  • Support M&A and business simplification projects , offering expert tax insight

What We’re Looking For

  • CA / CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Proven experience in Australian and New Zealand tax environments
  • Strong knowledge of indirect and direct tax compliance, particularly GST
  • Ability to navigate complex corporate structures and reporting requirements
  • Strong stakeholder communication and advisory skills
  • Insurance or financial services experience (highly desirable)
