Come and be part of something great. We currently have an opportunity for a Mine Geologist to join our Isaac Plains team.

Job Description

As Mine Geologist you will report to the Superintendent Mine Geology and will play an integral role in the ongoing success of our operations. Typically, this will include providing geological input into site operations, identifying geological uncertainties and managing resource risks on operating mine sites to an acceptable level and providing technical support, engagement, and project solutions to mine site to meet productivity / cost targets.

Qualifications

To be a be a success you will need :

• Tertiary qualification in Geoscience.
• Experience working in open pit mining operations
• Understanding of value drivers in large open pit mining operations and how these apply to planning decisions
• Familiarity with Vulcan preferred
• An impeccable work ethic and commitment to Stanmore values and safety (non negotiable)
• A distinct drive to identify continuous improvement opportunities with a collaborative work style.
