All about the role :

The Reliability Engineer is a key member in the factory maintenance team in their support of the 50+ ABB robots integrated in our production process. Working with our collaborative and passionate manufacturing maintenance and engineering team, you will identify opportunities for factory improvements, downtime reduction, process improvements and data management through our manufacturing processes, robotics, and digital scheduling systems. Using state-of-the-art technology, this role will provide you with an opportunity to work with industrial-scale robots and to grow and develop advanced manufacturing capabilities.

What you’ll do :

Support OFS / OEE meetings to review downtime and support supervisors with improvement activities
Review and update area TPM boards & conduct Audits
Conduct daily analysis of downtime events and update daily lost unit log with countermeasures
Weekly / Monthly analysis and reporting of downtime events (no of events, total time, lost units)
Conduct continuous improvement programs for significant downtime events
Coordinate and analyse and report on Preventative and predictive maintenance activity including
Safety and Compliance PM’s
Coordinate major repairs to plant, engaging contractors or maintenance
Review / modify maintenance PM’s for effectiveness
Coordinate weekly breakdown improvement meetings
Planning and scheduling of equipment improvement activities.=
Ensure all follow up improvement activities works are entered into the system and tracked to completion
Train / coach maintenance personnel in reliability practices
Attend major breakdowns for the purpose of RCA, and assisting with fault finding, thoroughly documenting the findings, creating work orders and reporting out findings

Who you are :

You work as part of a team to safely and efficiently meet your agreed objectives which contribute to the shared vision for Electrolux Home Products. To be successful you will be able to work effectively within a small team environment, under minimal supervision and display the following qualifications, skills, and attributes :

Master / bachelor’s degree in engineering or (Mechatronic) Mechanical or formal qualifications in reliability maintenance

Minimum 5 years working within Manufacturing or sector with robotics

Electrical background preferred but not essential

Able to handle intricate processes

Understanding and compliance of WHS, environmental, quality regulations

The ability to be pro-active and work with flexibility and efficiently

Be adaptable to different situations

Strong technical and analytic skills

Advanced fault finding and diagnostic skills

Capable of managing changes and multiple challenges at the same time

A can-do attitude and able to contribute to a positive team environment

Communicate competently with others You are open minded about where ideas come from and how they can be applied in the workplace.

Both flexible and open minded, you work efficiently and proactively to deliver results.

You ask and you listen, you take ideas on board, and work with your team, taking everyone in the same direction.

You appreciate and understand process and project goals and work hard to realize them.

Where you’ll be :

You will be based at Adelaide, Australia, Dudley Park Plant. It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling.
