Anaesthetics Consultant - Coastal WA

We are currently seeking Specialist Anaesthetists for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients located in Western Australia.

This Health Service spans over 470,000 square kilometres—nearly one-fifth of the State—serving a population concentrated along the coast. It is renowned for its unique natural environment and cultural diversity.

The hospital serves as the primary medical resource for the Midwest district of WA, with ongoing redevelopment plans for the emergency department and inpatient services. The models of care for individual departments are being reviewed, and there is a focus on strengthening the medical workforce profile. It’s an exciting time to join this growing service!

Located on WA's Coral Coast, the area is famous for its water sports, including spectacular kitesurfing, windsurfing, fishing, and diving. The Abrolhos Islands, just 70 km offshore, are home to fantastic diving and snorkelling locations. Nearby national parks provide excellent hiking and camping opportunities.

With a Mediterranean climate and a relaxed seaside lifestyle, there is no shortage of outdoor activities, particularly water sports. The residential areas, located a short drive from the hospital, boast excellent schools.

ANZCA Advanced Trainees within 6 months of fellowship

ANZCA-assessed as Substantially Comparable or doctors eligible for assessment / interview date confirmed

ANZCA-assessed as Partially Comparable with 52 or fewer weeks of supervision requirements
