Lead College is a CRICOS registered provider and is seeking an experienced Academic Support Officer who will be responsible from student commencement through to completion. This is a continuing full time (Monday to Friday) role.
As the Academic Support Officer, you're will be to deliver proficient and operative academic services in the College. You will operate within a team framework and provide high level client-focused academic support to the College's training programs. The role has a strong customer service orientation and you will work closely with other academic and professional staff.
- Your Responsibilities
- Liaise with Students and Trainers, Industry support to process academic records and administer the processes associated with the entire student lifecycle
- Monitor attendance and capture student's activities accurately throughout the course; all communications, assessments results are recorded according to established processes.
- Conduct Intervention Meetings & create / monitor intervention plans
- Maintain Student Management System (aXcelerate) (a must)
- AVETMISS reporting and other reporting requirements (desirable)
- Arrange and conduct student intervention meetings
- Conduct study file audits, perform the exit and archiving procedures
- Provide advice and assistance to students and staff in relation to academic and student administration policies
- Maintain effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders; use effective and appropriate communication in dealing with internal and external contacts
- Provide management reports
- General administration support, e.g. filing, copying, collating, binding etc.
- About You
You must have :
At least minimum 2 years' experience in the RTO industry with CRICOS programs (a must)Strong knowledge of aXcelerate or other Student Management Systems (a must)Strong knowledge of PRISMSGood knowledge of AVETMISS reporting & other regulatory reporting requirements (desirable)Strong attention to details and ability to provide accurate data (a must)Strong MS Office skills (Excel and Word)Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality academic administrative servicesProven ability to work cooperatively within a team settingBe able to self-manage workload with independence and mínimal instructionBe able to work to deadlines where appropriatePassionate about mindfulness and mediationExcellent organisational and time management skills, with proven ability to organise and prioritise workStrong skills in communication, problem solving, analytical, literacy, numeracy and written communicationHigh level interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and have a positive attitudeAbility to multi-task, be hands-on to achieve outcomes.Outstanding verbal and written communication skillsMaturity to handle a range of situations.Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlinePay : From $65,000.00 per year
