This role is responsible for Following release deployment tasks.
- Ensure proper documentation of Q2 and Salesforce environment configurations, release processes, as well as many up and downstream systems.
- Ensure that our stakeholders are educated on these.
- Monitor and manage the availability and performance of environments.
- Manage the deployment of releases into the various production and non-production environments.
- Coordinating with all parties to ensure there is agreement between stakeholders as to the content of each release.
- Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment of releases.
- Planning and Execution of the Implementation Plans and ensuring implementation readiness prior to production releases.
- Engage as necessary with enterprise-wide release governance processes like the Change Advisory Board
- Participate in release and sprint retrospectives to continuously improve processes.
- Co-ordinate deployment activities of incidents / issues next day after a deployment / implementation until they are fixed. This includes running Incident / Issue meeting next day onwards engaging all relevant parties (e.g. dev, support, QA)
Let's talk about you :
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Deployment or Environment Manager, or significant experience leading technology deliveries.Experience with lending and receivables systems.A proven track record of managing small teams.Experience with Q2 and Salesforce is desirable but not mandatory.Understanding of IT processes including change control and configuration management.Problem solving - the ability to systematically identify root causes to problems or issues and to define options for resolution in a timely manner.Strong Communication skillsExcellent facilitation and presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain an effective team environmentStrong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong strategic and lateral thinking ability, action-oriented, results focusedAbility to manage multiple competing issues concurrently, with tight time framesStrong Delivery FocusedAbility to challenge the current processes to improve efficiencyActive / Inclusive leader who drives decisions and outcomesSelf-motivated, capable of working with limited supervision, pro-actively reporting on status and tasksSound like you?
