The SIL (Shared Independent Living) Engagement Officer is an exciting new role that will be responsible for maintaining effective engagement with CatholicCare's Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Partners and internal and external stakeholders. The SIL Engagement Officer will be responsible to oversee the vacancy management of all current and new SIL / SDA properties. This role plays a critical function in ensuring that NDIS Participants have access to high-quality and appropriate CatholicCare Supported Independent Living Services (SIL) within CatholicCare's Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Partner properties.
This is a part time position with future views to increase to full time.
DutiesEstablish new aligned SDA partnerships in line with CatholicCare's SIL strategic growth directions.Build and maintain effective relationships with existing SDA partners.Coordinate with Manager, Communications & Marketing and General Manager -Disability and Senior services on marketing and promotion opportunities for upcoming SIL vacancies.Support CatholicCare NDIS participants with their annual plan review.Oversee CatholicCare's SIL / SDA enquiries, sales leads and maintain information on CRM systems.Oversee the transition planning process for all SIL / SDA vacancies in line with CatholicCare's vacancy management and service entry policy & procedures.Travel as required for events and meetings.About youRelevant tertiary qualifications and / or extensive industry experience.Experience in customer service, stakeholder management networking, collaborating, and influencing skills.Excellent organisational and administrative skills.Sound understanding of the NDIS, Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Working with Children Check.Current NSW driver's license.Access to an insured vehicle.About usAt CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay we make a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve.
