The hospital's ICU Department is a Level III FCICM C6 accredited with an active FCICM teaching and research program. This is a busy, advanced and well-equipped ICU with 8 bed Level II unit and an Intensivist service, and well-supported by Senior Intensivists and experienced ICU nurses.
- The Job
- Join as an ICU Registrar and provide high quality clinical care of patients under the supervision of senior medical staff
- You will participate in daily ward rounds and attending to patients in order of medical urgency
- ICU Registrars will collaborate with other medical staff, Nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members to facilitate patient management.
- You will assist in the teaching of JMOs, medical students and colleagues, as directed.
- Registrars will be well-supported by Senior Intensivists, experienced ICU nurses and allied medical staff.
- You are expected to participate in Quality Assurance Program activities.

- Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent
- Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Must have 6 months Anaesthesia and 6 months Intensive Care in the last 2 years
- Minimum 3 years post graduation
