Our consistent growth has presented an opportunity for a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to provide computer network defence for the Northrop Grumman Asia-Pacific Region. The role provides operational support and services protecting Northrop Grumman's computing infrastructure from sophisticated threats and strategically positioning our infrastructure defending against the threats of tomorrow.

The position can be based in Canberra or Sydney. Other locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Day to day responsibilities of the role include :
- Performing analytic and network forensic duties across the APAC region
- Defining and recommending security policy changes across a broad range of enterprise devices and systems
- Performing cyber forensics investigations in support of data recovery, incident response and other threats
- Trend analysis and reporting and providing proactive risk mitigation recommendations
- Collaborating with the Intelligence & Response team and Strategic Counterintelligence communities to remain contemporary and current
- Execution of cyber-threat hunting, vulnerability scanning and / or penetration testing as required
- Generating scripts and coding to facilitate effective and efficient processing of cyber threat related indicators and data
- Providing advice and guidance to company leadership
- Maintaining productive and effective working relationships with local and international stakeholders including Government agencies
- Assisting in security architecture planning, design and testing of new technologies and capabilities
- Producing high-quality written reports and briefings to support our culture of innovation and progressive thinking.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security (or similar)
- Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance (NV2)
- Appropriate skills and technical certification(s) in the following fields (or similar) are desirable :
- Incident Handling
- Intrusion Analysis
- Forensic Analysis / Examiner
- Reverse Engineering Malware
- Penetration Testing
- Cyber Threat Intelligence
- Penetration Testing
- Ethical Hacking
- Splunk Core Certification
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- Proven experience in the analysis of network communication protocols of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
- Experience in an analytical role focused primarily on network forensic analysis
- Experience with Splunk security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
- Previous experience operating within a large enterprise / multi-disciplinary organisation (international experience desired)
