• The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the management of mid to large scale projects and the collection, recording and managing of subsurface data and associated duties to provide services to meet client and legislative requirements.

In the role you will be required to perform field based utility location activities including the collecting, recording and managing subsurface data to meet the requirements of the client.

• About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate :

• Qualifications in utility mapping, surveying or equivalent experience gained in a similar role
• Proven skills and experience with subsurface utility detection, location and verification utilising a broad range of best practice industry technologies such as Ground Penetrating Radar, SONDE, Wands etc.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with Veris team locators and surveyors
• Strong understanding of Australian Standard AS 5488-2013 Classification of Subsurface Utility Information (SUI)
• Experience managing field teams
• The ability to understand and interpret a broad range of utility asset owner plans and diagrams
• Excellence in communication and client relationship management
• Ability to think strategically and innovatively to build the services provided
• Proven understanding of a business where utilisation & efficiency is the key to success
