Auto Electrician - Ancillary Minesite Workshop

This diverse role offers, working in the safest workshop and on exclusive Caterpillar and Komatsu heavy mobile mining equipment from Ultra Class Electric Drive Trucks to Ancillary Equipment Dozers, Graders and Loaders.
Due to unprecedented and successful growth at a BMA Mine in the Central Bowen Basin we have the opportunity to employ Auto Electricians for the Heavy Maintenance Ancillary Workshop, working various rosters. Mine Location : Southeast from Mackay 211km, free BIBO buses available from Mackay and Moranbah airport or DIDO at your own expense. Accommodation and all meals provided.
About you :
- Minimum 3+ years demonstrated workshop experience in repairing and maintaining Auto Electricians - Heavy Maintenance Equipment
- Experience and product knowledge in Caterpillar & Komatsu heavy mobile mining equipment preferred
- Components, Servicing and breakdowns repairs
- A positive and proactive approach to safety “can-do” attitude
- Willingness to learn and ask questions if you don't know
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service
- Qualified Auto Electricians with prior experience in mining or heavy equipment maintenance
- Current AC Licence
- Valid Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and relevant licences or tickets (highly regarded)
