Sydney Secondary College Balmain is a vibrant middle school with 880 students, including 30 Aboriginal students, located on the harbour foreshore with selective, enrichment, comprehensive and special education streams for students in years 7-10. We are proud of our diversity and inclusiveness. Balmain Campus provides opportunities for students to thrive in academic, sporting, cultural and artistic endeavours, though a broad, engaging curriculum and a multitude of extracurricular activities. As part of Sydney Secondary College, our highly skilled and dedicated staff have opportunities to teach across campuses – Leichhardt (7-10) and Blackwattle Bay (11-12) as well as work with colleagues across campuses in collaborative practices and professional learning opportunities.
