• Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following
• Scheduled Services, minor rebuilds & ongoing preventive maintenance to a medium fleet of various surface machinery (listed below).
• Diagnose, Problem solve & Fault find
• Identify, interpret & repair for reuse any parts & accessories
• Meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy, fully equipped modern workshop
• Able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work unsupervised at times
• Equipment on sites
• Excavators - CAT 6040 / 6060, Hitachi 2600 / 5600, Komatsu PC1250
• Dozers - CAT D10 / D11
• Loaders - CAT 992 / 993
• Graders - CAT 16H / 24H and 16M / 24M
• Dump Trucks - CAT 785 / 789 / 793
• Water Carts - CAT 777 and Komatsu 785
• Skills & Requirements
• Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile Plant)
• Current Manual Drivers Licence (mandatory)
• Proven experience on surface equipment
• Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drivers and minor components such as pumps and cylinders
• Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting skills
