  • About the Role
  • They are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

    Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting Hiring Managers with their recruitment needs along with coordinating the end-to-end recruitment activities to achieve organisational goals.

    Your duties, will include but won't be limited to the following :

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to elicit their recruitment needs and requirements
  • Manage comprehensive end to end recruitment process including open requests, job specifications, advertising, culling, telephone screening, interviewing, psychometric assessments and reference checks
  • Assist with coordination and management of recruitment campaign
  • Develop and design assessment strategy including behavioural based interview questions and assessment tasks
  • Partner with Contingent Labour Central team and internal recruitment teams
  • Generating letters of offer and employment contracts
  • Onboarding of new employees
  • Updating and maintaining employee files and records
  • Records and database management ensuring high accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
  • Report weekly to Hiring Managers and internal HR on the status of recruitment activities
  • Provide general support for program and project management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with PSC recruitment rules
  • About You
  • To secure this great assignment you will have the following

  • Minimum 5years Recruitment or HR experience
  • Public Sector experience and understanding of Public Sector Capability Framework essential
  • Demonstrated experience in providing sound GSE compliant recruitment advice to Hiring Managers
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite and TRIM / CM9
  • Reliable remote internet access
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
