EPS Corporate Services (NSW) Pty Ltd's associated entity Evolution Precast (NSW) specialise in bespoke precast elements to projects of any size and duration, with a wide range of complexity, in various industries, and is currently seeking an experienced metal fabricator to join its production team.

• Role Description

The responsibilities of this role include following engineering and architectural drawings, using hand and power tools, cutting and bending steel bars and mesh and connecting rebar.

Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings

Using hand and power tools to cut, shape and bend steel bars and mesh

Laying out steel bars, mesh and framework

Fixing steel bars and mesh to solid concrete bases

Joining steel sections using various welding techniques

Using rebar to build casts for the purpose of setting concrete in place

Preparing concrete and pouring into the prepared moulds

Planning and preparing steel stock for production

Working to a high standard and meeting deadlines

Work safely

Attend daily toolbox meetings

Skills and experience required :

Experience working in metal fabrication and steel fixing

Experience working within the production of precast concrete industry preferred but not essential

Can read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings

Must be hardworking and reliable

Ability to work in a team environment and alone

Good physical fitness

Salary

From $35.82 per hour
