  • About the role
  • As part of the Demand Planning team, you will work with our category teams, supply planners, our suppliers and DC teams to manage the timely delivery and availability of products to our stores; ensuring the right amount of product is on the shelf, in the right amount of time.

    You will strive to meet customer expectations through great sales forecasting. You will prepare, manage and coordinate forecasts, optimising stock availability at stores.

    You'll also :

  • Forecast promotional impact based on appropriate space allocation and offer coverage based on supplier stock availability
  • Forecast victim / cannibalisation impacts of promotions and product availability issues
  • Adjust State forecasts if necessary to account for weather / seasonality
  • Provide long term forecasts to support international purchasing.
  • Contribute to range review planning by modelling new lines to create an initial forecast, advising on clearance strategies for deleted lines and forecasting impacts to existing lines.
  • Communicate confidently across a breadth of stakeholders and teams
  • About you and your skills
  • You'll have experience managing demand planning, (forecasting and replenishment), for stores nationally as well as knowledge of retail industry and FMCG, combined with analytical and modelling skills.

    You'll also have :

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills which allow you to perform complex data analysis and modelling
  • Systems excellence - experience working with advanced stock forecasting and replenishment systems and processes.
  • A team player approach with well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills allowing you to build effective relationships.
  • A track record of complying with tight deadlines and producing quality outcomes
