We have a new opportunity for a motivated and results-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our team based in Eagle Farm, QLD .

Reporting to our Group Finance Manager , this purpose of this role is to provide accurate financial reporting to support strategic company decisions and uphold strict compliance to financial regulations .

About the Role

This opportunity works within our Finance Team and is responsible for the below :

Preparing and delivering accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements (i.e. balance sheets, income statements, cashflow statements etc.)

Conducting thorough financial data analysis to assess financial performance, trends and variances - paired with providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making

Establishing and maintaining effective controls to ensure the integrity of our financial information with strict compliance to internal and external policies and regulations

Preparing audit schedules and supporting external auditors in ensuring timely resolutions of audit findings

Ensuring timely lodgement of all taxation requirements including BAS, FBT and Payroll tax

Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes

About You

Our ideal candidate will have the below experience / skills :

Qualified CPA / CA or equivalent

5+ years of financial accounting roles

Proven experience in Microsoft Office - with advanced skills in Excel

Excellent attention to detail with organisational and time management skills

Ability to communicate and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the entire business
