About the Role

Our close-knit team of banking consultants plays a critical role in making this happen, by building trusted relationships with customers who visit our branches. Our banking consultants come from a range of backgrounds including hospitality, retail and the travel industry but they all share one thing - a passion for connecting with people and customer service.

Experience or qualifications in banking aren’t required to be great in this role – we’ll teach you everything you need to know about banking with our streamlined group training program which supports you as you learn the ropes. The training also sets you up for a career that can go many places!

We are continuously building our team of banking consultants in branches across the Sunshine Coast. and have part time opportunities in Maroochydore, Caloundra, Noosa, and Kawana Waters branches. If you’re customer-focused and ready to build a future career, we’ll work with you to find the right role in the right location.

What will your day look like?

There is so much variety as a S&S Banking Consultant, and you could be helping our customers by :

• Delivering customer obsessed service that drives customer satisfaction and first call resolution.
• Providing timely and accurate information on Everyday Banking enquiries, account openings and processes via telephone and / or online channels.
• Supporting and educating customers on how to use our digital platforms for personal banking, empowering them to self-serve with online banking features.
• Providing support for digital onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new customers to make the most of their banking
• Demonstrating the ability to listen, building trust and asking the right questions to exceed customers’ expectations and improve customer outcomes, resulting in strong NPS outcomes.
• Contributing to a team culture that is balanced across people, customer, risk, and performance.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and procedures and external requirements, including legislative requirements such as Privacy and FSRA as well as the Underwriting Guidelines.
