In this role you will provide a high standard of administrative and secretarial support to the Research Operations Manager, and Research Directorate. This ncludes scheduling and calendar maintenance, prioritizing and handling of inbound and outbound communications, preparing agendas and records of meetings, organising travel, managing expense reports, word processing, and file maintenance.Previous experience in a Health Care environment is favourable.This position will be offered on a fixed term 12 month contract working 30.4 hours per fortnight.A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.Certificate in Secretarial Studies or considerable experience in a similar role.Advanced word processing skills with the ability to display documentation in a professional manner.Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft letters, memos, standard reports and other correspondence on behalf of the Director.Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Executive, Managers, Caregivers, the public and other external stakeholders in a courteous manner whilst conveying a high level of professionalism.A high level of customer service skills including flexibility, tact and diplomacy.Coordinate and organise resources to maximise all opportunities. Determines project / assignment requirements by breaking them down into tasks and identifying types of equipment, materials, and people needed.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and multitask to achieve desired results.
