Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic friendly Receptionist to join our Allied Health Clinic in Chatswood.

We are an established modern clinic, located in the centre of Chatswood currently providing Physiotherapy, Psychology, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, and Acupuncture. We have loyal / friendly clients and a great team culture, which creates a rewarding environment.

Experience is regarded but not necessary. Training will be provided.

  • Your role will include front desk and administrative duties. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Greeting clients at reception and engaging in friendly conversation
  • Assisting other staff in developing rapport with clients
  • Managing incoming telephone calls
  • Scheduling and organising patient appointments
  • Processing patient information and accounts
  • Processing payments through EFTPOS and HICAPS systems
  • Liaising with Insurers and Government departments such as Medicare & DVA
  • Record maintenance - eg. scanning, filing
  • Maintaining clinic cleanliness

To be successful in this role you will possess :

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good customer service skills.

  • Ability to empathise with patients
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Critical attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise patient care while working calmly in a busy and challenging environment
  • Good computer skills with Microsoft Office packages
  • Proven experience working in a team
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise workload
