Our client is a respected earthmoving contractor providing bulk earthworks and excavation aggregate haulage and road work services from Perth to the Kimberley region and the Wheatbelt . With a strong reputation for safety professionalism and reliability they are currently seeking experienced HC Water Cart Operators to join their team on a FIFO basis.
The Opportunity
This position offers a FIFO 1 week on / 1 week off roster ex Perth with night shift to start . A full FIFO package is included covering flights meals and accommodation. This is a 3 4 month contract with the potential for extension offering consistent hours and competitive pay for skilled operators.
The Tasks Ahead :
Operate HC water carts for dust suppression and access road maintenance
Conduct regular pre-starts and safety checks on equipment
Maintain accurate records of loads water usage and operating hours
Work to site-specific procedures and safety protocols
Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of site activities during your shift
About You
You are a competent and safety-conscious HC operator with recent experience operating water carts in a mining or civil construction environment. You re comfortable working night shift rosters and committed to upholding safety standards in remote FIFO settings.
PLEASE NOTE : Only applicants residing in WA with full Australian working rights will be reviewed. We appreciate your interest however applicants based overseas will not be accepted.
Key Requirements
Valid HC licence with minimum 12 months experience operating water carts
Previous FIFO or remote site experience preferred
Ability to pass a full driver s medical and Drug & Alcohol screen (DNA)
Valid Fatigue Management certificate
Current Police Clearance
ASIC card or willingness to obtain
The Benefits
FIFO 1 : 1 roster from Perth all flights meals and accommodation provided
Hourly rate between $54 and $58 per hour depending on experience
3 4 month contract with the potential to extend based on performance and project needs
