About HR Shared ServicesThe HR Shared Services (HRSS) Department is part of the broader People and Culture Directorate. It is a well-regarded operations function, consisting of teams that provide accurate and efficient HR services across the organisation. With a focus on service excellence and customer-centricity, the HRSS teams work collaboratively together and with the broader People and Culture function to support employees and managers through the employee life cycle. HRSS includes payroll, salary packaging, HR services and HR systems.
It is an exciting time of transformation, as we are currently working through major system changes migrating from Chris21 payroll to SAP Success Factors, as well as doctors from paper-based timesheets to UKG Dimensions.
About the roleReporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will provide Austin Health managers and employees with support on all related payroll duties and administration in an accurate and timely manner.
A regular day will see you :
Produce accurate and timely processing of employee's payroll requests, timesheets and shifts reflected on the rostering systemEnsure all tasks are completed within the HR Shared Service delivery modelAbility to prioritise and work to set timeframes, strong attention to detail and enjoy problem solving complex queriesAbout youTo be successful in this role, you'll need to bring with you :
Sound knowledge of payroll processing, 1+ years' experience in a similar roleKnowledge of and the ability to interpret Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs)The ability to solve complex payroll queries and operate effectively across all areas of the end -to-end payroll functionStrong customer service focused approach, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and problem solving skillsAbility to work autonomously, as well as collaborate as part of a team in a busy environmentOur benefitsWorking at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
