We are seeking a highly motivated Full Time Bookings & Admission Officer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly team. Our progressive and growing team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. You will be expected to deal with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) from a range of disciplines and come into direct patient contact.
The role will effectively manage all patient bookings, registration, health fund checks, admissions and discharges. The role also requires preparing all relevant documentation and collection of patient payments as well as handling patient and family enquiries, coordination of daily theatre lists, tracking of patient bed allocation and providing administrative support (in regard to these functions) to the nursing staff and management.
Customer service is expected to be of high standard and this is reflected by positive patient experiences.
