• The position

Loreto Toorak is seeking an experienced and passionate Italian Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.

• This part-time (0.75 FTE) or full-time, ongoing role
• is set to commence in January 2025.
• Key Responsibilities
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, adapting teaching styles and approaches to meet individual student needs.
• Employ effective pedagogical practices to promote students' academic, emotional, and spiritual growth.
• Implement a range of teaching strategies to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Engage actively in the School's pastoral care system, reflecting the values of Loreto.
• Foster a positive learning environment through clear expectations and consistent classroom management.
• Provide a safe, child-centred environment for all students.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school beyond the classroom.
• About You
• Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
• Proven expertise and knowledge in teaching Italian (Year 7 to Year 11)
• An ability to teach Religious Education or another method will be highly regarded
• Experience teaching Year 12 Italian will be highly regarded
