As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a proactive and resourceful Telemarketer / Appointment Setter to join our team.

Role Overview :

As a Telemarketer / Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers, conducting market research, and setting qualified appointments for our Business Development and Sales teams. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication and research skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify potential clients exhibiting at key trade shows and expos.
  • Build and maintain lists of prospects using online directories, show exhibitor lists, and LinkedIn.
  • Make outbound calls and send personalised emails to introduce Expo Centric’s services.
  • Qualify leads based on criteria provided by the Sales team.
  • Book appointments with decision-makers and update CRM with accurate lead data.
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Lead Generation and Marketing team to align messaging.
  • Track performance and report on key metrics weekly (calls made, appointments booked, etc.).

Key Requirements :

  • Proven experience in telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
  • Excellent research skills – able to independently source leads and verify information.
  • Strong communication skills – clear, engaging, and persuasive.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in the exhibitions / events / marketing industry is a plus, but not required.
