Our large NSW State Government client serves the community by leading the provision of world-class education and training, connecting all stages from early childhood to tertiary courses and qualifications.

  • About the Role
  • They are currently seeking a professional Customer Service Officer to join their team in Wollongong with the flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 4-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

    Working within the Training Services Branch, you will be required to provide general information to customers and members of the public on apprenticeships, traineeships and vocational education and training programs to support the Regional Centre.

    Your duties, will include but won't be limited to the following :

  • Deliver high level, professional customer service
  • Answer enquiries providing timely and accurate responses
  • Facilitate the resolution of complaints, escalate as required
  • Inbox management, generating correspondence
  • Order stationery and maintain office equipment
  • Distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
  • High volume data processing of information into the system
  • Preparation of documentation, briefs, correspondence, spreadsheets and reports
  • Complete financial administrative duties including invoices, purchase orders and reconciliation
  • Records and database management ensuring high accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
  • About You
  • To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following

  • Demonstrated Customer Service and Administration experience
  • Education, Training or Public Sector experience highly desirable
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Valid Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and willingness to undergo National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence the assignment and commit to the duration
