Job Connect is seeking a passionate and motivated experienced or entry level Recruitment Consultant / Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our dynamic team located in Yatala , on the south side of Brisbane.

The Opportunity

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Recruitment Consultant to join our fast-paced, high-performing internal recruitment team.

  • Salary : $65,000 – $70,000 per annum (based on experience)
  • Bonus : Up to $6,000 per annum

This is a varied and dynamic role where you will gain hands-on experience in recruitment processes. You'll work closely with our Recruitment Team Leader / Management and gain exposure to all aspects of recruitment within a professional, structured, and growing business.

Candidate Management

With comprehensive training and support , you will learn to :

  • Process applications and guide candidates through recruitment stages
  • Screen resumes and identify suitable candidates
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews to secure top talent

    • What We're Looking For

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need :

  • An interest in Recruitment and HR
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive communicator with no phone fear as we are looking for someone who thrives on the phone and has no hesitation in reaching out to candidates or clients.
  • Previous recruitment experience (blue / white collar) is advantageous but not essential

    • We also value experience from roles in :

    Customer Service, Call Centre, Hospitality, Sales, or Administration

    The Role

    This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is organised, diligent, and motivated. No prior recruitment experience is required— full training is provided .

    Your Key Tasks :

  • Evaluate – Ensure candidates are compliant, assist with inductions, reference checks
  • Hire – Get candidates job-ready, coordinate onboarding, liaise with new hires
  • Candidate Check-In Calls – Ensure candidates are inducted, safe, and happy
  • Process – Use our advanced recruitment system
  • Experience – Provide a smooth and exceptional candidate experience
  • Support the Team – Help manage external staff across multiple industries
  • Engage with Candidates – Match them to suitable roles
  • Relationship Building – Maintain strong client and candidate relationships
  • Source Talent – Find and place candidates based on client needs
  • Think on Your Feet – Show initiative and creative thinking
