Help Coordinate Our Plant and Equipment

The team at Rokon is growing and we have a healthy pipeline of projects across Melbourne. To support the team, we currently have an opportunity for an individual to join the team and assist the coordination of our plant / equipment and services across all Rokon sites.

  • About the role

    • Reporting to the Manager, Rokon Plant, the key areas of responsibility include :

  • Coordinating plant equipment and services across Rokon sites
  • Process trucking requirements
  • Source / allocate plant and contractors
  • Follow up with clients and contractors to ensure on time delivery
  • Daily communication with Internal stakeholders regarding operational requirements
  • Source quotes and create purchase orders
  • Maintain equipment, cartage, and materials costs
  • Monitor and report on expenditure against budget for each project
  • Co-ordinate mobilisation and demobilisation of compound amenities and required contractors.
  • About you

    • To be successful in the role, you need to demonstrate the following :

  • Previous experience coordinating plant equipment and services, preferably within the civil construction sector
  • Effective planning and scheduling skills
  • High attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Problem solving skills and high level of initiative
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Experience using ERP and document management systems preferred but not essential
