    • As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a passionate and experienced _

    • Educational Leader / Room Leader
    • to drive the development of quality educational programs, aligned with the Early Years Framework and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.
    • What you will be doing
    • Leading the development, planning, implementation, and delivery of educational programs for children aged 6 weeks - 6 years old, ensuring alignment with the NQF, EYLF, and Reggio Emilia approach.
    • Coaching, mentoring and supporting educators through ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and individualised mentoring to strengthen teaching methodologies.
    • Building respectful partnerships with families and communities, fostering collaboration and inclusivity in all aspects of learning and care.
    • Guiding educators in supporting children's development of identity, well-being, confidence, and communication skills.
    • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and contributing to the service's Quality Improvement Plan, striving to meet and exceed service expectations.
    • Overseeing the documentation of each child's learning journey, including Wellbeing Plans, Curriculum Intentions Plans, and Room Routines.
    • Ensuring the physical environment is safe, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to support children's learning and development, fostering active participation and respect for the environment.
    • What we are looking for?
    • Skills
    • Minimum 12 months' experience in the same or a similar role.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Positive and optimistic outlook and a great team player.
    • Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
    • Aligned to Educational Philosophy of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy
    • Ability to build strong relationships with Directors, Educators at the Centre, the children and the families.
    • Qualifications
    • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is a must
    • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education OR equivalent
    • Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
    • Current Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
    • Current Child protection, Safe Sleep and Food Safety Training desirable

    • Pay : $35.96 - $52.00 per hour

      Expected hours : 38 per week

      Schedule :

    • 8 hour shift
    • Ability to commute / relocate :

    • Macquarie Park NSW 2113 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
    • Education
    • Certificate I - IV (preferred)
    • Licence / Certification :

    • First Aid Certification, CPR and WWCC (preferred)
