The Role

The Group Reservation Manager will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities within the hotel while ensuring all queries and bookings are carried out in an accurate and timely manner.

You will liaise between the Sales / Events and Reservations / Revenue to ensure that group business is maintained accurately, whilst liaising with Front Desk and other departments to ensure a smooth customer journey for groups staying in-house.

You will be the contact for groups from enquiry through to arrival, including quoting, follow-up, and management in Opera. If you enjoy interacting with guests but also want to learn more about reservations and revenue, this is the role for you!

Talent Profile

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Managing group enquiries and sending out the quotes
• Following up with agents and upcoming prospect group blocks
• Inputting rooming lists in Opera and issuing the Pro-forma invoices to the agents
• Working closely with the Event team to ensure that the accommodation enquiries are actioned and issuing the discount booking if required
• Assisting general reservation tasks on a daily basis

What we are looking for :

• Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Hotel facilities and local environment
• Proficiency in administrative reporting and volume data analysis
• Experience in Opera
• A proactive individual who is eager to learn more about reservations and revenue
