About this role

Based in I-MED rotating across our North- East Melbourne clinics (Heidelberg, Warringal, Kew, Greensborough, Eltham) a permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Radiographer to join our friendly and collaborative team. As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient imaging services across a variety of modalities. This is a Monday to Friday position, with shifts scheduled between 6 : 15am and 9 : 00pm depending on modality, and occasional on-call duties limited to hospital sites. Weekend work is also available as optional overtime.

Experience in MRI is highly regarded, with access to three MRI machines on-site - two of which are fully Medicare-eligible (GE and Siemens).

Key responsibilities :

  • Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT and MRI.
  • Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
  • Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standard
  • Key selection criteria :

  • Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
  • Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology / Diagnostic Medical Radiography
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
