The University engages in a range of international educational partnerships and articulated degree programs. In partnership with Southwest University (SWU), UWA teaches into the undergraduate Biotechnology program of the Bachelor of Science at the SWU Beibei Campus, Chongqing, China. Students subsequently have an opportunity to complete their degree at UWA at the Crawley Campus, Perth, Australia.

As the appointee, you will coordinate and teach in the International Joint School program, WESTA College located at Southwest University (SWU), Chongqing, China. You will provide a single contact point and contribute to outreach and marketing activities in support of the program.

You will also develop materials and deliver teaching in both Perth and Chongqing, coordinate teaching activities including maintenance of online platforms, and assist other staff to deliver high-quality teaching.

You will be expected to travel to China as necessary to meet the needs of the program for on-site teaching, typically through several 2-week periods throughout the year, as well as online teaching to maintain contact with the WESTA cohort. Contributions to teaching the BSc (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) at UWA (Crawley Campus) will also be expected.
