Our client is a very well known brand in the Australian Retail market and they are looking for an IT Project Coordinator to join their team. The biggest aspects they are looking for is attitude, work ethic and drive to do the best job possible. If you have those and experience as an IT Project Coordinator then this role could be great for you.

You will be working closely with one of the key Project Managers and the bigger team, working collaboratively on projects, chairing various meetings, be involved in cross functional meetings, dealing with internal and third party stakeholders and any other ad hoc aspects that come up.

They are looking for someone that has some experience as n IT Project Coordinator / Officer / Administrator that can handle high pressure situations, multiple priorities and projects and work across a variety of responsibilities. This is ideal for someone that enjoys being busy, is proactive and can identify gaps and issues and wants to resolve them, and is looking to gain valuable experience, skills and grow their career.

This is an initial 6 month contract with an immediate start, and will be a subsequent rolling contract. It could lead to a permanent role down the track. This role is located near Richmond, with a hybrid model and flexibility. Any retail experience in a Project Coordination capacity would be highly looked upon.

  • Responsibilities
  • Proactively support and encourage project governance and controls
  • Actively work to streamline, automate and enhance reporting processes and tools.
  • Develop new reports; design, document and implement supporting processes and procedures.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with all individuals within the team, whilst exerting authority with respect to individuals' compliance where it affects governance and reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with completion of necessary project governance documentation and information for reporting by managers, and highlight any issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure that timesheets are completed on time and accurately, liaising with individuals, line managers, Finance / IT teams as necessary to resolve issues and queries.
  • Requirements
  • Experience within an IT Project Coordination capacity ideally in an enterprise environment
  • Experience running / chairing meetings, taking minutes
  • The ability to think proactively and collaboratively and work well with internal stakeholders at various levels
  • Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset in general
