Maintenance Worker

We are employing casual maintenance workers (handyperson) to complete ad hoc repairs and preventative maintenance tasks for our residential aged care client in Banora Point NSW.

Duties include :

Provide a range of general maintenance and building maintenance duties, egs. plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, changing door handles and locks, maintaining site grounds.

Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work.

Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff

Work within the WHS guidelines to ensure a safe environment.

We are looking for someone who has :

Previous maintenance experience. (Trade qualifications are not essential).

Knowledge of WHS requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills

Basic / moderate computer skills

Good time management and organisational skills.

Previous experience in a aged care, preferred.

Reliable transport and a licence
