This role will be based at the Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence - MILVEHCOE, Redbank. This will be a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast paced, collaborative team of professionals. - About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director Procurement, the role is to lead one of the Procurement Commodity group and be responsible for the engagement of key suppliers through developing contracting and procurement strategic sourcing plans which deliver value for money and meet program schedule requirements.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes :
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Logistic & Supply Chain or related discipline;
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement in a large and complex business (ideally manufacturing / industrial) environment, which delivered significant efficiencies and cost savings;
- High proficiency in contract administration, risk management and / or commercial management;
- Effective leadership and influencing skills with strong commercial orientation;
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment;
- Ability to travel interstate when required; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
