  • What you'll be doing
  • Reporting to the Wellness Team Lead, the Allied Health Assistant :

  • Participates in activities designed to maintain or improve the quality of life of our clients
  • Works with the multi-disciplinary team to implement and deliver appropriate therapy programs for clients under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist
  • Assists the Occupational Therapist in the provision of equipment and home modifications, including liaising with suppliers and clients and the review of home installations
  • Communicates and collaborates professionally with internal and external peers, stakeholders and clients

  • Someone with :

  • A demonstrated genuine commitment to helping older ageing people retain their independence so they can remain at home in the community.
  • A flexible approach to working with a highly motivated team
  • The ability to work with mínimal supervision and the confidence to show initiative and be positive with colleagues and clients.
  • Energy and adaptability for a varied workday.
  • Willingness to learn and build new skills from experienced team members resulting in great outcomes.
  • You will need
  • A Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (including booster if eligible)
  • A current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
  • It'd also be helpful if you had
  • A current Police Check
  • Experience and / or knowledge of Home Care Packages
  • The salary for this position is $58,717.00, plus super. Kilometre reimbursement is paid for any travel required, (your daily commute is not included).
