The role is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a diverse range of internal and external events across Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT).

This includes community events, corporate functions, staff engagement activities, and stakeholder launches.Responsibilities include : Developing and managing the events calendar, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and stakeholder needs.Leading end-to-end project management of events, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and budget tracking.Overseeing all event logistics, including venue booking, catering, AV, permits, signage, and accessibility requirements.Collaborating with internal teams to align messaging, ensure representation, and support departmental objectives.Managing relationships with event vendors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value for money.Leading setup, delivery, and pack-down of events, ensuring smooth operations and responsive problem-solving.Measuring event success through feedback, KPIs, and post-event reporting to inform future planning.Requirements : Proven experience in event management with a creative, energetic approach and exceptional interpersonal skills.Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.Experience in an Event Manager role with ROI outcomes.Familiarity with Aged Care, Health, or Not-for-Profit Sector is highly regarded.Strong leadership, communication, digital platform, and problem-solving skills.SummaryAbout Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT)We are a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to empower older people to 'live life to the full'.
