About the Role
Our client is seeking for multiple (up to x2) passionate and committed
Communications Officers
to fill multiple APS6 full-time positions in their busy communications team. The Communications and Contact Centre section provides specialist external and internal communications and stakeholder engagement advice to support the agency in meeting its outcomes.
demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas :
Communications account management, including developing and implementing communication strategies for external audiences.
Internal communications.
ability to build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
well-developed time management with the ability to manage multiple projects within changing priorities.
experience managing communication strategies with the ability to identify areas for improvement, provide content advice and initiate change.
ability to think strategically and identify ways in which the team and / or section can build on its goals and strategies.
experience working within a team environment with the demonstrated ability to lead projects and make decisions independently.
Qualifications / experience
a minimum of 2 years' experience in a related communications discipline.
well-developed written and oral skills
the ability to work independently as well as with different teams in a fast-paced environment. a degree or diploma or post graduate diploma from an Australian tertiary institution or a comparable overseas qualification, with a major in public relations, communications or stakeholder engagement will be highly regarded.
