The role

Reporting to the General Manager the Contracts Manager will be responsible for key activities contributing to the successful implementation of largescale service contracts. The Contracts Manager will be the primary point of contact for all major partners; they are responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for partners where their needs are understood met and exceeded.

The Contracts Manager will work closely with leaders across the business to ensure that contract deliverables are delivered on time within budget and to a high standard. They will require excellent project management and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and rapport building abilities.

Please note this is a parental leave cover position subject to the rights of the Employer and the employee on parental leave to cancel or end the unpaid parental leave early in certain circumstances under sections 77A(2) to (6) and 78 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).

Key responsibilities

The Contracts Manager is responsible for :

  • Maintaining strong positive relationships with both existing and potential funding partners and project stakeholders ensuring that their needs are met
  • Supporting tender applications and onboarding of new contracts
  • Working closely with other departments within the business to ensure that contractual requirements and deliverables are understood and met
  • Taking a solutionfocussed approach whilst negotiating contracts and deliverables with funding partners to ensure the best outcomes for both BHCo and the funding partner
  • Project management and overseeing contract compliance and administration requirements such as reporting submissions accounts and quality assurance.
  • Contract reporting
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities
  • Assisting with additional tasks across other areas of the business as required
  • Partnership development and stakeholder engagement
  • Overseeing internal and external evaluation projects related to funded contracts

Key selection criteria

Essential

  • Bachelor level qualification in a relevant health and / or business area
  • Key account management or contract management experience
  • Data compilation evaluation and reporting experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Highly desirable

  • Experience delivering health programs and / or working within a health organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current nutrition and dietetic practice behavioural management approaches and weight management principles
  • Experience working with government and community agencies
