Manage a brand-new development to the museum
Develop, plan, review and execute the Operation strategy

Our client is a an incredible Not-For-Profit who have been operating for over 35+ years and providing valuable education and insight to the community and beyond. They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the team. This position reports directly to the CEO and will be focused on all operational initiative for the organisation, primarily centred around its new launch museum.

Your role will be extremely varied and will include : -

Develop high level admin, strategic planning and operational planning to support the CEO & Board

Lead and manage a team (5 direct reports)

Supporting all aspects of people & Culture including development of related strategies and procedures (OH&S, policy, succession planning etc)

Overseeing the effective use of the CRM system and other internal procedures

Developing and managing strong strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders

To be successful in this role you will have

Proven experience working in a similar Operational role

Relevant tertiary studies are beneficial

Strong leadership skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to network and genuinely build rapport

Have values aligned to a NFP focused on education, community and history
