6 month fixed term contract Sydney Office Hybrid working available Compare Club is one of Australia's leading comparison businesses, helping over a million Australian families make smarter decisions across Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Utilities, and more. With rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Compliance professional to support our compliance function for a fixed-term period of six months. The Role This role is crucial in strengthening our compliance foundations to ensure Compare Club meets its regulatory obligations and internal policy requirements. You will work across multiple business verticals, engaging with stakeholders to refine compliance frameworks, review obligations registers, and control structures. Key Responsibilities Support business verticals and marketing teams to : Understand their compliance obligations and ensure obligation registers are up-to-date, including controls to manage regulatory obligations. If gaps exist, develop or refine and implement controls to meet those obligations, including policies, systems, and processes. Ensure all control owners are identified and current. Work as part of the team to design and implement a control testing framework to ensure controls are effective and operating as intended. What We're Looking For Extensive experience in compliance or risk within financial services, insurance, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies, controls, and risk frameworks. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability. Experience in designing and implementing compliance monitoring and control testing frameworks.
