About your role :
- Participation in Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health multidisciplinary teams by taking appropriate clinical responsibility for patients and working with team clinicians to ensure good team function.
- Delivery of education and training to junior CHMHAODS medical staff, medical students, other mental health clinicians and non-mental health trained clinicians.
- Positive promotion of the specialty of psychiatry by performing the role in a professional manner and engaging consumers, carers, other non-mental health clinicians and non-government service providers in active communication about patient care.
- Maintenance of personal clinical and professional knowledge and skills by participating in appropriate continuing professional development programs and educational opportunities.
