Finance Officer

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Officer to join our client's finance team. The Finance Officer will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working across a range of financial functions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities : Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on timeReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsMaintain financial records and ensure all documentation is properly filed and compliantSupport budgeting and forecasting processesLiaise with internal and external stakeholdersAssist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors when requiredMonitor financial transactions and resolve discrepanciesProvide administrative support to the finance department as neededRequirements : Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldPrevious experience in a finance or accounting roleSolid understanding of financial principles and accounting practicesStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial / accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, SAP)Strong organisational and time-management skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhy Join Us?Supportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentStable and reputable organisation At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
