Health, Safety & Wellbeing ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesAs the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at prioritising the health, safety, and wellbeing of personnel within the organisation. Your key duties include :
- Designing and implementing health, safety, and wellbeing frameworks, policies, and processes.
- Collaborating with leaders and team members to cultivate a psychologically safe and supportive workplace culture.
- Monitoring industry trends and implementing proactive measures to enhance organisational health and safety practices.
- Providing comprehensive injury / illness management and support services for team members.
- Leading incident investigations and implementing preventive measures.
- Facilitating health and safety committees and promoting relevant activities and programs.
- Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety, allied health, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Victorian Workers Compensation legislation.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing health, safety, and wellbeing strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation, standards, and policies effectively.
