  • Part-Time Cleaning Supervisor
  • position has become available for a professional and organised team member to work with one of Assetlink's clients. The role will be responsible for performing overall cleaning work on-site.
  • The Role

  • If you have 6 to 12 months of experience and want to expand your knowledge within the cleaning industry as a cleaning supervisor then this position is for you. You will be provided on-site training, and the opportunity to allow you to step into a senior role within Assetlink. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, are passionate and have a strong desire to make a difference.
  • The Roster for this role is

    • Monday to Friday - 5 : 30pm - 10 : 00pm

  • Responsibilities
  • Supervising the cleaning team members
  • Supporting the Cleaning Manager on staff-related matters.
  • Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training.
  • Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences;
  • Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc;
  • Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client.
  • Understand customer's security, environmental and safety requirements.
  • Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries.
  • Desired Skills and Experience
  • To be considered for the position you must have the following
  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in retail / commercial cleaning
  • Previous experience supervising a team (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure.
  • Consistent attention to detail.
