THE ROLE

This role has been created, due to our client's continuous growth.  They are looking to further expand their team with somebody like you, who is an experienced and enthusiastic Control Systems Engineer, able to deliver real solutions that make a difference.  You will not be working alone; you will not be working in a single industry, you will not be working on a single project...

You will be able to use your extensive control systems experience to design, develop, program, implement, and maintain new and existing industrial control system solutions in the renewables, power generation, oil and gas, water, building management systems, and other government industries.

You will be responsible for :

  • Provide accurate, fit-for-purpose engineered solutions for projects,
  • Working closely with stakeholders,
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, maintaining your currency of professional and technical knowledge,
  • Be open to continuous learning, to identify opportunities to leverage new tools and / or techniques, to improve the team’s efficiency and productivity,
  • Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and reporting on risks and hazards.

As an experienced Controls Systems engineer, your ability to successfully work to deadlines will see you be a star in this role. You will have the following skills and traits :

  • Experience in Functional Designs & Specification development,
  • Experience in Greenfield Automation Systems Design,
  • Proficient in SCADA and HMI Configuration,
  • Knowledge of PLC platforms like Rockwell (incl View SE), Allen Bradley, Citect, Miri Telemetry, and Ignition

  • Experience in troubleshooting, fault finding, and commissioning of automation systems, instrumentation and VSDs,
  • Knowledge of Safety Systems.
