Army must be good stewards of the resources with which we have been entrusted - people, time, machines and money - through enhanced understanding of our performance and risks. The APS 6 Quality Assurance Manager provides regional quality assurance oversight of Army capability to identify improvement and provide timely feedback to support a culture of innovation within Army.

Under broad direction the Quality Assurance Manager will be accountable to act as the regional point of contact for Army's assurance activities and audits. The Quality Assurance Manager will have direct access to stakeholders across the organisation including commanders, team members, industry representatives and will be supported by a national network.

What you will be doing as a Quality Assurance Manager :

  • Developing and implementing an effective Quality Assurance Framework
  • Building and sustaining effective relationships with stakeholders and actively participating in group activities
  • Coordinating assurance and business transformation activities
  • Identifying areas of improvement across Army
  • Providing advice and guidance on the management of quality assurance processes and business planning
  • Building team capability through coaching, feedback and enhancing the quality of work undertaken by others within the work unit.
  • Your experience and findings will also feed into high level working groups, and be shared across the national network of assurance teams.
